In the Spring of 2019, my design team designed a machine to extract the seed of the tropical Baru fruit. The design team used an iterative design process following the Understand-Create-Evaluate model. The team used blue-sky thinking and RITZ for idea generation, and decision matrices for decision making. Once the team felt confident on a model, the team modeled the design on SoldWorks and created a wooden prototype.
